I seem to recall HDoan telling me the only flaw with Iron Joe's models is that they have too many unnecessary details that could be textured on.
Remember, this project is not Jack's. You don't need uber-hi-poly everything...

Hey since this is the WIP page i am goona tell ya'll my litte project
my cousin (works at autodesk) got me maya, so i have been trying to create a dragon longsword.
Sadly Maya is harder to use than 3ds Max 9, so it could be a while till i get it up here.
But it will be done in less than 5 days (if i dont get grounded again)

Well jack said he's gonna at least skin the blade of the sword, so I don't know when... But the model can be animated I guess while jack also works on skins.

Here's the hammer animation. My first contribute to RMT!
Don't worry, the youtube video is on private view. What's next?

Wow. Just wow. Can you really be stupid enough to put that on PRIVATE VIEW? Seriously. What are you afraid of? People copying? Who would do that? Now I can't even watch it, along with just about everyone else here. The whole point of these WIP videos is to show off what you have so far. And what do you do? You barge in and post a video on private view. Words cannot describe the bemusement I feel towards you right now.

Cool it, doompig, Wolf is contributing much more than you are, so do not criticize him.
It was a simple mistake, happens to all of us.
Wolf Grave, why don't you just put the link to public view on youtube on this thread, because it is not like someone can copy your animations via video. (no raw data file)

Sorry! I had no idea that would happen because I even tested it on another account... Sorry for the inconvenience this was only a mistake.

If you don't understand what a ballista is, look it up on Google

Seriously, I get pissed off pretty easily, especially at sheer stupidity. Who goes around telling everyone to watch a video, then puts the video on private view so no one can watch it?
Oh, and Noxstant, nice hammer model. It must be so difficult to stick a block onto a cylinder, which is what it looks like. Must have taken forever to do that, right?

Doompig, how come one day you're happy as can be. Then the next day you're the biggest *** in the world?

And like I told you before, doompig. If something is set to private viewing, then you can't see it. So don't go saying like you did to me yesterday

I think the animations are off to a good start but I think that the horizontal blow especially lacks a real blow (the vertical one is good just needs a bit more speed IMO), for the horizontal one maybe you could give it a tiny bit more speed and let the wrist twist as well so the hammerhead gets a bit more speed.
For the I'm bored anims, maybe you could lift the fingers a bit and then put them back on the stick. (that sounds sick but you know what I mean)

My cousin and I am almost done with the Ballista. Together we have created a mid sized one, beacuse its powerful and easy to move. But it still needs to be skinned and animatied

Do I look like I was born yesterday?
I plan to remake Noxstant's hammer. Wolf Grave has agreed. I'll also make a woodcutting axe.
Oh, and by Noxstant's hammer, I mean "Noxstant's place an untextured lopsided box onto a CONE in disguise as a cylinder, without even rigging it or joining the two pieces apart at all". Wolf Grave himself told me that that's what the model was when he got it. A box that was on crooked, on top of a cone which has been edited for both ends to be equal so it's a cylinder (why would you do that? There already is a cylinder object...). Both untextured. Both not rigged at all. I could do better with my eyes closed and my brain tied behind my back.
So yeah, I think I'll remake it.

Okay, everything (just about everything) you said right there, doompig444, was pretty harsh. Noxstant may have screwed up on his first impression, but he can improve. Give him another chance, see if he does better.
Also, thanks for the advice Martini, I'll take it.
And that's a really good model you got there HMC, keep up the good work!

What are we going to use for Capture the Flag or Oddball? Mabey the Guthix Charging stone?

I have to admit, that is actually a pretty good model. I do think it's a bit big (I can see from the grid at the bottom of the picture), but I can just scale it to be smaller. I might change my animations a little with is warhammer.
Also, why the hell did you have to "doom" Noxstant's post?

I had to Doom it because Zoxin said I couldn't ban or delete him. Dooming is the next best thing, because my bladder is excessively small and I have small reproductive organs, which lowers my self confidence.
