I have just started First Person Animations. I still need practice, but when I get better I can probably do a little animating on RMT too, if noone is doing it.
Here is my first animation:

Lol, you can't. He might not release it, as it's just a test. And even if he does use that in his maps, he'll probably protect it so no rippy-rip.

I think that any RMT maps should be protected.
BTW I embeded your video into your above post (top). Since I just found out how.

Since you are the animator of RMT, Maarten and I will need to provide you with the weapons models when they are completed.
I can email the crossbow to you shortly.
You DO know what to do with it, right?

I agree. Someone may rip if we don't.

actually I hoped to do some animating myself but for some reason my FP IK chain keeps locking up the elbows But yeah, you're kinda THE animator guy, as long as you let me animate SOME of my stuff i'm OK.
Oh btw do you want the sword rigged (with all the nodes and frames) or just the model (UVW'ed and textured maybe?)

You can animate some stuff 'cause it's, well, your models, just leave some for me. A rigged sword would save me some work thanks.

If you don't know how to incorporate custom content, yes, the plasma pistol would be adequate for a sword (as Zoxin and doompig have done in some of their ZAP mods)

yeah cus I mean, the sword actually only needs a frame_gun node and actually nohting else as it doesnt have any effects or animatable subobjects (maybe some nodes for marine/spartan hands).

True. Doesn't need any ammo cartridges or display markers, such as the AR ammo counter. And is a flashlight node really necessary?

And that's why I hypothesized that you chose the plasma pistol as a node. (weird sentence)
BTW, doompig, your avatar is extremely distracting. (Just putting that out there)

There's not exactly much going on in this page, so I'm just going to post another animation video here.

While at a first glance they look good, some of the animations are pretty basic.
I suggest working on those anims a bit more and they will end up splendid
