| Still not seeing what you mean. Are you saying the shield would protect the entire body from an attack even if it was from behind?

| make it a mod2 with a collision model engineered so it takes all the damage for the parent mod2, but make it a secondary trigger weapon

| That's kind of what I am going for. Except I don't have to do anything to make the shield block attacks. The composition of the material will handle any blow.
ANd I will sort out primary trigger of shield (extend block) and secondary (shield smash). | |

| You do not have to do anything to make the block. It does it automatically. I will give it thick collision-geometry, and any impact on it will not damage the user. The player with the shield will be able to extend it towards the direction of the incoming attack to block it, so the player takes no damage. | |
