Varrock Map

This is the official development thread for the varrock map as of now.

Our current projects are to:
-Finish the carriage model (Maarten)
-Finish the BSP (Cafeteroman, I know your out there, mister!)
-Finish skinning the BSP (Jack once the BSP is done [I'm pretty sure Jack doesn't know how to texture. - Doom])
-Weapon models (Maarten and Carto and doompig)
-Weapon and vehicle skinning (Jack)
-Sounds (doompig [and Jack?])
-Come up with weapon designs and ideas including ROF, effects, etc.(Carto and doompig)
-Come up with (maybe) more vehicle ideas and designs.

I'm going to have to ask Zoxin, but I think we should probably not let anyone who just randomly wants to beta beta...
They might steal the map, or leak it.

We've already said that people who wanna beta test can test FINAL betas with us. It's even on a new post on the RMT thread on FF. All ACTIVE members on the forum get to test final betas with us.

I could Try to make skins but i would need a tutorial on how to apply them the first time

Well you could check halomaps.org for some tuts. Usually all you need is there. You think you'll be able to skin weapons and vehicles?

I think so, i'm but going to need to read tut here and there and figure out how.

I will be at my dads house this weekend so i will read all i can to figure out how.

sadly my dad has a PoS Computer so I have to find a 3d-modeling prog. made for a slow pc.
Anyone got an idea?

Im at my dads and sadly with this connection speed it might be next week before the installer will arrive.....

Im glad that at least the pc at my moms works

I really dont like the first texture (the one on the left) it seems messed up and is not tilable by any means. Other than that I have no idea what it resembles.

But, good job and I look forward to working with you.

Are you talking about the shield? The two sides are front and back and they are textured properly and can be used effectively with a model.
